HEX390 Balanced Pressure Ventilation System
Option 2
Sophisticated, Durable, Efficient.
The HEX390 is the latest ventilation innovation that brings balanced pressure to the air in your home, ensuring a cleaner, drier and healthier home environment.
The HEX390 unit is manufactured in New Zealand. It provides a solution to homes in New Zealand that develop rapid condensation, which can produce mould and unwanted odours.
Benefits of Installing a HEX390 ventilation system in your home
A HEX390 system provides fresh air to your home whilst retaining some of the heat already created through a heat source (heat pump or fire place) within the home. It provides balanced pressure to your home.
The unit will ensure fresh air replaces the humid damp air that is built up, especially in the winter months. This product is ideal for New Zealand homes, especially those in colder climates.
- Creates a healthy breathing environment
- Pollutants – extracts pollutants from your home
- Dust – helps control dust within your home by ventilating without opening windows or doors
- Climate Control – if you have a heat source within your home it will distribute fresh heated air throughout your home instead of having concentrated heat in one area
- Winter – works best in winter months in colder climates, as homes tend to be shut up
- Regulatory – within certain areas of NZ it is now law to have mechanical ventilation within homes near to airports, motorways and train lines
- Heat recovery – achieves balance pressure by reusing the heat created within your home
- Security reasons – avoids having to leave doors or windows open for ventilation
- Laundry – ventilation is important if washing is dried within your home in winter months
- If the outside temperature exceeds 27⁰C during summer months, the system will automatically shut down as the air will be too warm for your home. This temperature can be adjusted at the Digital Controller.
Installation
The HEX390 ventilation unit is installed by a qualified tradesperson who will develop a plan to maximise its effectiveness. It can be installed within new builds or retrofitted.
